 It is our great joy as a Student Ministry to partner with Women’s Ministry to help raise funds for an amazing ministry in Rwanda called New Hope Homes. New Hope Homes (please visit www.calmministries.org or rwandadonna.blogspot.com to learn more about this unique organization) was our MLife focus in January. At that time we announced an art show that our students would be able to participate in this spring. We are excited to announce the final event coming up for our students to be a part of.
.jpg) The culminating event is one we are so excited to be a part of! The weekend of September 18-19, 2010, our church has the great honor of hosting both recording artist Sara Groves (click for more information about and to register for the benefit concert) as well as International Justice Mission founder Gary Haugen. Part of the weekend will include an event at which Sara will perform and our student’s artwork will be featured. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and we are thrilled to have our students be a part of it.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
CCC Student Ministries is now accepting submissions for our final art show on September 18 to benefit New Hope Homes!
All work should be a response to the show theme, "A New Hope," and may include:
- hung art (photography, collage, painting, drawing, pastel, charcoal, etc.)
- sculpture
- film
- writing (poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction)
- graphic design
- music (live or recorded)
- multimedia
- don't see something on this list? ask us about it!
Each piece must be accompanied by a submission form and turned in no later than Sunday, Sept. 12.
Multiple Submissions
Feel free to submit more than one thing! However, due to space limitations, we may not be able to display everything that you submit. Keep in mind that each piece will need to have its own submission form.
Hung Art
All hung art pieces should be framed (mat optional) prior to submission. It is our desire to send all hung art to New Hope Homes to help decorate the walls of a new house! If you do not want your art to be sent, please indicate that (and why) on your submission form.
Film
All film submissions should be burned to a DVD.
Writing/Graphic Design
All writing and graphic design submissions should be burned to a CD or sent in electronic format to debbiep(AT)ccefc.org.
Music
All music submissions should be burned to a CD. Please submit a copy of the lyrics, if applicable, and let us know if you wish to perform live or play the recording at the show.
